In 2006 he set personal records of 4:12 in the 1500m and 16:08 in the 5000m. "It is my goal to be a catalyst in creating a running community in San Antonio that promotes a healthier course for South Texas. As a member of WRSA you will be given the tools and resources to help shape the world where you live and run." - Edgardo Gonzalez CONTACT FOR COACHING SERVICES AND SEMINARS:

| Gary Brimmer Personal Running Coach/Run Group Training Coordinator Competitive Distance Runner Gary Brimmer is a personal running coach with over 15 years of coaching experience. Gary has coached at multiple age group levels and has guided numerous runners to all levels of success. Gary found his passion for this sport through his own success and failure. He has been a competitive distance runner since the age of 12. He was a top high school runner, represented the US Army in inter-service competitions, and is a two time member of the United States Military World Cross Country Team. Gary realized that he also had a passion for coaching runners. He began coaching adults in 1999 when he was stationed in Hawaii with the US Army. As a 22 year career Army Non Commissioned Officer, Gary has a rough, direct, and “firm” way of coaching, however, he believes in coaching the individual, not the group. He found early on that if he simply became a mentor, teacher, and motivator the runners responded well beyond what they ever originally believed they could. Gary’s athletes have tasted success at all levels. He has coached high school state championship teams and individual runners. His adult runners have consistently placed well in road races, to include marathon champions. Currently he has several who have a goal of qualifying for the 2012 Olympic Trials for the marathon, but many of his athletes have goals ranging from fitness improvement to qualifying for the Boston Marathon.
