About this Event
This women-only event, benefitting the American Cancer Society’s Determination Program, starts at 8:30 am on Saturday, June 2 on the property of Miller Creek Lavender Farm, following Miller Creek Rd on the east side of 281 for a scenic out and back. There are 3 fully stocked water stops manned by handsome male servants wearing Hawaiian shirts. 5 water stops for the 10K and 3 for the 5K.
Runners will love this challenging course followed by our famous post race champagne brunch. After the race, runners enjoy breakfast with champagne or mimosas, great music, free massages, shopping for lavender products, and cutting lavender from the field. This is also the first weekend of the Blanco Lavender Days in which all other local farms participate.

The Menu
The B-Rey’s BBQ and Caterin Menu for Lavender Run:
Grilled chicken, Italian pasta salad, rice pilaf, sausage, scrambled eggs
(with tomato, spinach, and feta cheese), assorted fruit salad, and an assortment
of bagels, English muffins and breads with butter and jams.
Packet pickup
Packet pick up is offered in Austin at RunTex Riverside, May 31st, 2012, 4:00-7:00 pm; at Run On! 20079 Stone Oak Parkway 78258, in San Antonio, June 1, 2011, 10AM–7:00 pm; and at the lavender farm on race day, 7:00-8:15 am.
